Itinerary

Day 1Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Evening Game Drive

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
With stopover at Equator before proceeding to drive through Masaka, this drive is memorable one with fantastic view of the dry rolling hills of Ankole and slow moving Ankole long-horned cattle just besides the road with stop over for lunch.
Evening game drive in Mburo National Park
Enjoy the evening game drive in this captioned landscape rolling hills, rocky out crop and open wooden savanna for the best wildlife safari experience and animals expected are zebras, impalas, elands, topis giraffes, waterbucks, kips ringers, vervet monkeys, buffaloes, warthogs, baboons and several bird species. This park alone has a record of 232 species of birds and 69 species of animals afterwards return to the lodge to check in for overnight.

Day 2Early Morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park

After early morning drive to the park and in the compact jewel there are well presented wildlife at only 370 km. The ….. is small compared to all other savanna national parks in Uganda and being a home to surprising wildlife and the only national park in Uganda containing impalas. Enjoy the beauty of this whispers of the wind. After the game drive return to the lodge for lunch before going for boat ride. Enjoy the boat cruise. The boat moves along the shores at the eastern shore liner. The boat here is very engaging when you find spot crocodiles and hippos during this two hours voyages. You can also sight herons African fish eagles, and perhaps African fin foot, shoebill. These are thought after birds by the bird watchers. After the boat drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 3Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After morning breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, drive through the spectacular scenery that never end. This drive can be sometimes referred as the drive through land of mine and honey. This is the geographical skew the falls that it is reflected on the two of African’s primary habitats savanna and tropical forest witnessed on this drive through Mbarara-Bushenyi and finally the land of craters with fantastic view of Kalinzu forest, the Kyambura gorge and escarpment view of Astounding variety of safari opportunities in Queen Elizabeth National Park and finally arrive in the evening and check in at the lodge.

Day 4 Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After early morning breakfast drive to Kasenyi plains for the memorable safari experience in Queen Elizabeth set again the back drop of the jagged Rwenzori Mountains. The vast savanna of Kasenyi is the perfect setting for a classic African. Enjoy huge heads of Uganda kobs, pride of lions, warthogs razing bent on their knees, huge ….. elephants strides across the savanna plains, aggressive looking buffaloes graze the plains and many other attracting wildlife species, the endless plains make it an idea provider a dream photo opportunities for the most enjoyable incredible wildlife spectacle. After game viewing drive back to the lodge for lunch before set off to Kazinga Channel for afternoon boat cruise.

Day 5Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After morning breakfast drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Hoima-Bulisa. This drive gives you an opportunity to enjoy the scenic view of Rwenzori Mountains ranges being extremely humid area and frequently enveloped in clouds gives you the best photo opportunities. Enjoy the green hills of Toro that support tea plantations, with rich cultural diversity of Batooro, Banyoro and arriving in Hoima Town one of few districts which were given city status. This is where you will stop over for lunch before proceeding to Murchison falls.
Enjoy the scenic view of Lake Albert and clear Blue Mountains of Democratic Republic of Congo. Enjoy wildlife of Bugungu wildlife reserve, Pearson Memorial Monument at the top of Butiaba-Bunyoro escarpment before proceeding to Buliisa and finally arriving late in the evening at the lodge.

Day 6Morning game drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

After early morning breakfast drive to the Northern part Of the park for the best wildlife safari experience lies at the Northern end of the rift valley with vast palm dotted savanna. You will enjoy plenty of wildlife graze the savanna grassland. You will marvel at the wide range of animals such as big dozens of elephants, herds of buffaloes, warthogs, towering giraffes, waterbucks, duikers, kobs, oribis and the unusual looking elegant shaggy hartebeest and even sometimes hiding lions and leopards. You may spot them at dusk before driving back for lunch. After your hot lunch drive down to the river to catch up with afternoon boat voyages along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of Murchison falls. It present astonishing display of wildlife and culminates with a memorable frontal view of the falls along the way. Enjoy the visitors of the Nile such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and some water birds on this 3 hours boat cruise not forgetting the permanent residents of the river such as hippos and crocodiles. You will be dropped off to line to the op of Murchison Falls.

After being dropped off you will meet a ranger guide who will take you through to the top of this magnificent roaring falls as you enjoy the vast landscape and varied scenery which is completely different experience of this magnificent waterfall which will bring all your sense into play. Watch the waves of white water tumble by hypnotically through 6m, listen to the roar shake beneath your feet then finally you will meet with your driver guide and drive back to the lodge.

Day 7Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

After early morning breakfast transfer to Kidepo valley National Park from Murchison falls using the Northern Gate. The drive through this scenic beautiful area is rewarding with such a rich wildlife encounter connecting to Acholi land of warriors combined with rich cultural and community experience and life style, see the Manyattas, agricultural plantains and many other attractions through Gulu and arriving in Kitgum where you will have your lunch. After lunch connect to Kidepo. The 134 km drive which start at the roundabout of the eastern edge of Kitgum’s town Centre through Kirgum-Matidi-Nawn-Kora, Rom and through the foot hills of Mt Rom. This drive is rewarding with fantastic scenery up to Karenga and checking in at Lokimoit gate and finally at the lodge for overnight.

Day 8Morning game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park

After early morning breakfast drive through this rugged, semi-arid valleys. The rich and Uganda’s most isolated wildlife spectacle as you drive through this wild frontier region of Karamoja in the most magnificent for wildlife among the Africa’s finest wilderness in this rolling grassland plains rich with animal such as cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, thousands, and thousands of buffalos, zebras, hartebeests, ostrich, reedbucks, duikers, leopards and lions. Water hole near the Tourism Centre are perfect zones for animal game viewing especially during the dry season. After hard drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park
After lunch relax a bit and drive back in search for evening sightings of the day in this lonely planet with few people where the savanna landscape extends far beyond and towards the horizons outlined by distant mountain ranges for the best missed morning catch or even with the plenty of suspected and rises such as birds and mammals, white crested turacoo, Abyssinian roller, green wood hoopoe ostrich, verreaux’s eagle, Egyptian vulture, pygmy falcon all believed to be Karamoja endemic. Animals such as jackal, kudus, hyenas, buffalos, elephants, zebras roan antelope etc. before driving back to the lodge for overnight.

Day 9Transfer to Kampala & Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and Kampala

After early morning breakfast transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking via Kitgum-Gulu-Karuma. This driving is a rewarding one. Enjoy the manyattas and Karamajong homestead scattered over a vast savanna dry mains with stopover for lunch at selected restaurant/hotel en-route.
Afternoon Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is a home for the only remaining Rhinos in the wind here in Uganda. Enjoy the beauty of this sanctuary on foot in search for the Rhinos which is an engaging memorable safari experience on foot along the way you may see some other wildlife such as birds and mammals including: Uganda kobs, waterbucks, baboons, vervet monkeys, black and white colobus, bushes, warthogs at the sanctuary’s office. You will see African grey parrots. After tracking transfer back to Kampala to catch up with right flight.
